Get Ready for Problem-Solving Court Month and Florida Opioids & Stimulants Use Disorder Awareness Month

May of each year is recognized as Problem-Solving Court Month and Florida Opioids & Stimulants Use Disorder Awareness Month. This is a month to raise awareness of the important role that problem-solving courts play in addressing substance abuse, mental health, and other complex issues facing our communities.

To kick-off the month of awareness-raising activities, a webinar for courts and court partners is scheduled for May 2, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM. The webinar will energize and encourage participants with an agenda that includes:

  • Insights into Florida’s diverse problem-solving courts from experienced circuit and statewide leaders,
  • Inspiring and motivating success stories,
  • Valuable resources to support problem-solving courts,
  • Timely news and resources for addressing opioid and stimulant use issues,
  • Ideas for potential partners for court services and initiatives, and
  • Opportunities to celebrate the work of those in the field along with problem-solving court participants.
